Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place in Thomas Tuchel’s team despite being heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, according to reports.

Hudson-Odoi has spent his entire career at Stamford Bridge, making 98 appearances since breaking into the first-team in 2018.

But the 20-year-old only started 10 Premier League matches last season, with the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz last summer creating considerable competition in west London.

Hudson-Odoi has been repeatedly linked with a move to German giants Bayern Munich in recent years, with Tuchel reportedly considering using the winger in a deal to bring Kingsley Coman to Stamford Bridge.

But The Sun say Hudson-Odoi is not interested in leaving his boyhood club and intends to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place in the team.

Hudson-Odoi took part in pre-season training at Chelsea’s training complex in Cobham on Monday as the club prepare for the start of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Blues enjoyed a superb second-half to last season to finish fourth in the Premier League, reach the FA Cup final and win the Champions League.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to back Tuchel – who replaced club legend Frank Lampard as manager midway through the 2019-20 campaign – with a number of new signings this summer.

Former PSG and Borussia Dortmund boss Tuchel wants to sign a new striker to replace Olivier Giroud and provide competition for Timo Werner, with Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Robert Lewandowski among the names linked with the Premier League club.

Chelsea are also expected to sign a new centre-back this summer and have expressed interest in Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
