Gemma Collins came over all charitable this week when she gave a homeless man £100.
Yes, you read that right – not a pound coin. Not even a tenner. Just a casual ONE HUNDRED BIG ONES.
The former Towie star handed over the dosh to the (no doubt slightly taken aback) man while leaving an upscale restaurant in London’s exclusive Mayfair area.
And of course, because it’s the GC, she looked impeccably glam while carrying out her act of philanthropy.
The 39-year-old stunned in leopard-print co-ords teamed with (what else?) a £1,790 Balenciaga rain mac and a protective face mask.
The meme sensation seemed to be loving life as she chatted to the homeless man, before piling into a taxi with a group of friends.
While Gemma appeared upbeat during her lavish night out, the ITVBe star has battled plenty of heartbreak in recent months.
Gemma had a turbulent time during lockdown, which included breaking up with her boyfriend of four years James Argent as well as suffering the miscarriage of their first child together.
She opened up about the painful experiences to a friend in the new series of her reality show Diva Forever & Ever, when it returned to screens on Tuesday.
Gemma said: ‘I actually suffered a miscarriage in Covid which was a shock.
‘I remember two days before having really bad stomach pains and I thought I must be due on. Then the rest happened and I had to go to hospital.’
The Celebrity Big Brother alum also addressed her split from Arg, which came after it emerged he called her a ‘hippo’ in cruel text messages.
‘I’ve tried to be as respectful as possible,’ Gemma told her friend.
‘Then you’ll see pictures of my ex standing with a bunch of girls and I feel like the pictures have been done to upset me. You might as well have got a knife and jammed it in. Like why?’
She added: ‘I’ve basically been on the floor. It’s just really hard picking yourself up again but I put my lipstick on and I just carry on acting normal even though I’ve been really sad inside and I just keep going.’
