Jodie Kidd and John Barnes join new Channel 4 show Trash Monsters with Kerry Katona

JODIE KIDD is shunning the world of fashion for food waste – after signing up to Channel 4’s wacky new TV show Trash Monsters.

The model, 42, will wear the contents of her bins for a week as part of the new series.

Jodie will also be joined by former footballer John Barnes, 57, who has signed on the dotted line and started filming this week.

A source said: “Jodie and John are the final signings for Trash Monsters.

“They will be on the show alongside Kerry Katona, who was the first name to join the line up.

“It’s got to be one of the weirdest shows coming up on the box but it’s got a big message behind it.

“Along with Kerry, Jodie and John will be facing up to their own consumer habits and looking at how much their households waste every week.

“They will then be wearing the contents of their bins in special suits to show them just how much they throw away.”

The Sun exclusively revealed how Kerry, 40, had joined the bizarre new Channel 4 show last week.

“They will be wearing the contents of their bins to show them just how much they throw away.”

A source said: “As a mum-of-five, with four living at home, Kerry knows all too well how big families can get through in terms of food and household items.

“She’s pretty good normally but thinks this show will help her kids understand more about waste and why it is important to try and be better.

“Having to wear the contents of her bin and recycling is one of the strangest things she’s ever done however – and Kerry thinks that could be hilarious.

“The celebs will have to go in public in their special trash outfits too and Kerry is more than up for it.

“She’s so bubbly and outgoing, the bosses have no doubt she’ll be grabbing the attention of the public regardless of her specially made suit.”
