Kelly Osbourne holds dad Ozzy’s hand as First Family of Darkness unite for family portrait

The Osbournes are back together for Halloween, but instead of watching a scary movie together, they’re hunting down real life ghosts.

Well, what more would you expect from the first family of darkness?

Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack have posed for a new family portrait, and while the stars may look rather different then they did in their MTV heyday, they were all glowing in the promo shot for the Osbournes Night Of Terror special.

In the pictures shared by the Travel Channel, Kelly, 35, was seen with her pet chihuahua in one arm and holding her dad Ozzy’s hand, with the Black Sabbath legend, 71, looking pretty spirited.

Ozzy was wearing a bowler hat and holding a cane as he sat on the sofa next to wife Sharon, 68, who was sporting mauve hair and wore a chic outfit of an oversized white shirt and pinstripe trousers.

And Jack, 34, sat on the arm of a chair, wearing a baseball cap and a check shirt.

The youngest Osbourne teased what was to come from the special, saying: ‘Most families go pumpkin picking around Halloween. The Osbournes – we go ghost hunting.’

The caption of the Travel Channel’s post read: ‘Get ready for a fright night like no other when the Osbournes go on their first-ever paranormal investigation together in the new two-hour special #OsbournesNightOfTerror. Join the First Family of Darkness for an epic night of spooky fun on Friday, Oct. 30 at 9|8c!’

We’ve got to say, it’s pretty on brand.

It’s been a rough year for Ozzy, as he has had to be extra careful during the pandemic due to his healthy issues.

The rocker admitted the last year has been ‘f***ing hell’ after suffering pneumonia, undergoing surgery and being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

And his daughter Kelly defended her dad against trolls who wrote vile comments about him, after seeing Ozzy with natural grey hair and using a cane to walk.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the One Word singer said: ‘What you’re doing to him is disgusting. He has had spine surgery, he broke his f***ing neck, he has Parkinson’s, and he learned how to walk again.

‘And you’re pointing at him and saying, “Look how sickly you are” – you should be saying, “I can’t believe he’s walking again, look how amazing he is.” It’s disgusting.’

Kelly did, however, admit her father was looking forward to dying his hair dark again, and judging by the new pictures, he’s managed to get his hands on some dye.

Kelly herself has also gone through a transformation, after losing six stone in the last two years.

The star underwent gastric sleeve surgery to aid her weight loss, and it’s clear it has boosted her confidence, as she was glowing in the family pic, wearing all black and sporting her purple hair in two buns.

Previously discussing her surgery on the Hollywood Raw podcast, Kelly said: ‘All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.

‘The kind of surgery I had… if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction. So, anyone who’s thinking of doing something like this, really think about that.

‘I had to do a year of stand-alone therapy to prepare myself for the surgery before I even had it. What people don’t realise is, it cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me.

‘All it is, is a push in the right direction. It doesn’t solve all your problems. It’s not a quick fix.’
