In a surprise moment, the broadcast journalist was surprised with her two children, Charles, four, and Vale, six, alongside her husband Michael Feldman, 52.

The TV personality’s family joined her on-stage alongside her co-hosts Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Carson Daly.

“Look at your man here, getting all teary-eyed,” Hoda added, as the communications consultant also became emotional over the significant milestone.

In addition to the visit, Savannah was also presented with a decadent red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting by the celebrity chef Gesine Bullock-Prado.

Monday on Today has been a huge celebration for the long-time NBC star, as her colleagues paid tribute to her work over the last ten years.

Savannah joined the cast of Today in 2011, after working as a White House correspondent and chief legal correspondent for NBC News for several years.

The Australia native has conducted interviews with high-profile individuals, and served as the primary anchor for NBC’s primetime 2016 presidential election coverage.

In 2014 she married Michael, who was a former Democratic political adviser.

He served as former Vice President Al Gore’s traveling chief of staff during the 2000 presidential election.

The couple was engaged in May of 2013 during a tropical getaway to Turks and Caicos.

They tied the knot during a small ceremony in Tucson, Arizona, which was described as “an intimate gathering of 80 to 90 people”.

Savannah is reportedly worth approximately $30million, and her salary on the Today show is estimated to be $8million.

In May, the journalist interviewed Ellen DeGeneres over her decision to quit her long-time show.

The daytime host told the reporter that she was “very emotional” over the choice and that the “toxic” workplace rumors were “ridiculous.”

“I told my staff and my crew and that was emotional and I’m glad that I did before it leaked, I got to tell my crew from my own words. And that was emotional because I hadn’t been sleeping,” she confessed.

“I really did think about not coming back, because it was devastating. It started with attacks on me and attacking everything that I stand for and believe in and built my career around… I am a kind person.

“I am a person who likes to make people happy. I am a people pleaser and this is who I am,” she admitted.

“So when I started reading these ridiculous things and it just kept going and going and going.”
