The prime minister has lost the moral authority to lead the country, Tory MP Andrew Bridgen has said.

Mr Bridgen has already submitted a letter of no confidence in Boris Johnson, over reports of parties held in Downing Street during lockdown.

On BBC Breakfast he was asked why, unlike many of his colleagues, he wouldn’t wait for the outcome of Sue Gray’s investigation.
